This workshop is designed as a professional development opportunity to enhance participants’ understanding of the complexities of intercultural communication and collaboration. Through this program, individuals will engage in interactive, in-depth discussions about culture, identity, and their impact on professional and academic environments. By exploring these topics, participants will gain insights into how cultural differences shape interactions with students and colleagues by working through tools and strategies for navigating cultural differences, including practical guidance on handling challenging names within different cultural contexts By the end of this program, participants will develop a deeper understanding of intercultural collaboration, enhance their ability to navigate cultural differences, gain practical strategies for addressing challenging pronunciations in a cultural context, explore the concept of cultural humility as a framework for continuous learning, and strengthen their capacity to foster inclusive and effective communication.
