NAVIGATING THE AGENDA/SCHED
The Sched meeting planner software is being used for the schedule/agenda. The Sched platform allows attendees to create a public profile to connect with other participants. We encourage everyone to populate their Sched profile and upload their photo and biographical information. It is a great way to learn about all the attendees and network with each other.
The Sched account is free and the site is persistent, provided by the Indiana University Pervasive Technology Institute. Use it to view sessions, contact other attendees, and access bios and abstracts of the presentations.
If you click on ATTENDEES and see the alert YOUR PROFILE & SCHEDULE ARE HIDDEN FROM ATTENDEES or you do not see your profile appearing there, follow these steps to make it accessible:
- Login to Sched in the upper right corner
- Click on your image or initials in upper right corner
- Choose SETTINGS
- Under Privacy & Email, turn the switch for MAKE MY PROFILE & SCHEDULE PUBLIC to green.
- IMPORTANT: Scroll all the way to bottom and choose SAVE SETTINGS
- Follow the same instructions above but choose EDIT PROFILE instead of SETTINGS
